Nigerian music star, Banky W is no doubt one of the happiest humans on earth at the moment as he has successfully undergone a fourth surgery for skin cancer.
The ‘Strong Ting’ crooner who couldn’t seem to contain his excitement took to his Instagram page to express his gratitude to God for his recovery by sharing a video detailing his time at the hospital while undergoing cancer treatment.
The video shows Banky W receiving care and attention from his actress wife, Adesua Etomi, who seemed to have been supporting him during his battle with illness.

Some of the clips from the video showed Banky being wheeled around the hospital with Adesua always nearby. He then took to the caption to share his testimony while also thanking his wife and others who showed him support.
His lengthy caption read;
“Sometimes, your faith in God will not prevent the storms from coming… but it will carry you through them. Faith won’t always stop you from hurting, but it will help you heal, and it will help you deal.
“God never said the weapons wouldn’t form, He promised that they wouldn’t prosper. He never said the enemy wouldn’t come… He promised that when the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of God would raise a standard against him.”
Posting this testimony to encourage anyone out there who is going through a challenge. It might seem bigger than you, but greater is He that is in you than anything you will face in this world.
Grateful for my wife, family, friends, and Pastors for their love, prayers, and support. Thanking God for my health and trusting that this latest victory is final in Jesus’ name.

The First Time Banky W Talked About The State Of His Health
In 2017, the entertainment industry was thrown into confusion, following the revelation by R and B music star, Banky W, who confessed he had battled with a rare strain of skin cancer for years even as he asked his fans not to feel bad but to pray for him.
The shocking news left many of his fans in shock with some wondering how the singer managed to keep the news away from them for so long as the ailment kept him away from the public, especially the social media platforms for months.
This was at a time when people were already looking forward to his marriage to actress, Adesua Etomi, following their introduction ceremony, which was held some months back, his decision to come out public with his cancer story left many questions on the lips of many of their fans.
The singer turn politician who had been away for a long time before then disclosed that he had a third surgery on a rare strain of skin cancer tumor in his shoulder, adding that he had managed to keep the sickness to himself for sometime but decided to come out public to encourage others, who could be going through a similar problem.
In an Instagram post that drew over 100, 000 likes and almost 20,000 comments, Banky W asked his fans not to feel bad or message him with worries, urging them to thank God on his behalf.
“For those, who have been wondering why I have been away so long, I had my 3rd surgery on a rare strain of skin cancer tumour in my shoulder last month. The first two were over 10 years old, then it recently resurfaced. But this isn’t a sad story as much as it a reminder and a testimony,” he wrote.
He revealed that the past few weeks of his recovery had been tough but beautiful. “I am finally back on my feet, feeling stronger and ready to get back to life. I am thankful for life, provision, and healing. Please, don’t feel bad.”
