Dr. Bright Enabulele, the gubernatorial candidate of the Accord Party in the recently concluded Edo State election, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Oba of Benin, His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo Oba Ewuare II, on the occasion of his 8th coronation anniversary and 71st birthday.
In his message, Dr. Enabulele praised Oba Ewuare II as a symbol of unity, tradition, and cultural preservation.
Noting the Oba’s dedication to uplifting the Benin Kingdom and the entire state of Edo through his wise and peaceful reign, Enabulele described the monarch’s leadership as a source of pride and inspiration for both residents and people across Nigeria.
“As a technocrat deeply committed to political philosophy,” Dr. Enabulele remarked, “I recognize the invaluable role that strong leadership plays in fostering development, inclusivity, and cultural preservation. His Royal Majesty exemplifies these qualities, and his reign has been marked by wisdom, humility, and a deep commitment to promoting the rich heritage of the Benin Kingdom.”
Dr. Enabulele also assured the Oba of his continued efforts to support and sustain the Edo monarchy, while actively promoting the culture and values of the Benin Kingdom.
He went on to emphasise the vital role traditional institutions play in ensuring political stability and socio-economic progress in Edo State.
“I remain dedicated to promoting the ideals of our great kingdom and will continue to work towards enhancing the legacy of the monarchy for future generations,” Enabulele pledged. “His Royal Majesty’s reign has brought immense pride to the people, and his contributions to the development of Edo State will continue to be celebrated.”
The former gubernatorial candidate, known for his technocratic approach to governance, reaffirmed his commitment to serving the people of Edo State.
He went on to wish Oba Ewuare II many more years of good health, prosperity, and continued service to his people, and expressed confidence in the monarch’s enduring influence on the progress and peace of Edo State.
